Remarks: Scymnus subvillosus is a common species in the Middle East and in the Mediterranean region specifically ( Raimundo & van Harten 2000). It is an aphidophagous species that is widely distributed on citrus groves and more frequent in the warmer parts ( Kehat & Greenberg 1970). It was reported earlier from our region ( Halperin et al. 1995). Most of our samples were collected from barley fields and almond trees in the study area.
