Type host: Picumnus sclateri Taczanowski ( Piciformes : Picidae ). Type locality: Peru.
Additional material. 14 females and 3 males from Picumnus temminckii Lafresnaye ( Piciformes : Picidae ), PARAGUAY: 3 November 1938, coll. A. Neunteufel, all material in AMU.
Host range and distribution. Oligoxenous species associated with the piculets of the genus Picumnus ( Piciformes : Picidae ): P. o l i v a c e u s Lafresnaye and P. sclateri Taczanowski , both from Peru ( Glowska & Laniecka 2014), and P. temminckii Lafresnaye [new host] from Paraguay (present paper).
