Neopicobia ea Skoracki et al., 2014b: 78 View in CoL , figs. 7–8. Types deposited in AMU, ZISP and ZSM, examined.
Type host: Celeus flavus (St. Mueller) ( Piciformes : Picidae ). Type locality: Venezuela.
Additional material. Four females and 1 male from Celeus flavescens (Gmelin) ( Piciformes : Picidae ), BRAZIL: West Minas Gerais, Agua Suja, Begagem Valley, coll. O. A. Carvalho, all material in AMU.
Host range and distribution. Oligoxenous species associated with the woodpeckers of the genus Celeus ( Piciformes : Picidae ): C. elegans (St. Mueller) from Brazil, C. flavus (St. Mueller) from Venezuela, C. torquatus (Boddaert) from Peru ( Skoracki et al. 2014b) and Celeus flavescens (Gmelin) [new host] (present paper).
