Picobia ictericus Skoracki et al., 2010a: 144 View in CoL , figs. 1–9. Types deposited in AMU, examined.
Type host: Pseudoleistes guirahuro (Vieillot) ( Passeriformes : Icteridae ). Type locality: Brasil.
Host range and distribution. Mesostenoxenous species associated with the icterid birds ( Passeriformes : Icteridae ): Cacicus chrysopterus (Vigors) and Pseudoleistes guirahuro (Vieillot) both from Brazil ( Skoracki et al. 2010a).
Remarks. This species was originally described as Picobia ictericus Skoracki et al. 2010 , but all generic characters of this species perfectly correspond with the genus Neopicobia , therefore we have moved it to this genus.
