Type host: Sylvia curruca (Linaneus) ( Passeriformes : Sylviidae ). Type locality: Poland.
Host range and distribution. Oligoxenous species associated with the sylviid warblers of the genus Sylvia ( Passeriformes : Sylviidae ): S. curruca (Linnaeus) from Poland ( Skoracki & Magowski 2001), Jordan ( Skoracki 2011), S. hortensis (Gmelin) from Jordan ( Glowska et al. 2007), and S. nisoria (Bechstein) from Turkey ( Skoracki 2011).
