Type host: Ptilinopus iozonus Gray ( Columbiformes : Columbidae ). Type locality: Papua New Guinea.
Host range and distribution. Mesostenoxenous species associated with columbiform birds of the family Columbidae (Columbiformes) : Ducula luctuosa (Temminick) and D. rosacea (Temminick) both from from Indonesia, D. pistrinaria Bonaparte , D. rufigaster (Quoy and Gaimard) , D. spilorrhoa (Gray) , and Ptilinopus iozonus Gray all from Papua New Guinea ( Kaszewska et al. 2014).
