Distribution: Egypt: Sinai, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
Remarks: This species was described by Uvarov from specimens found in the collection of the Plant Protection Section in the Ministry of Agriculture and Ibrahim (1979) examined 6 specimens housed in the Cairo University collection, but none of these specimens could be located.
