Material: 03.08.2017, Marmaris Bay, Aegean Sea , sandy mud, 26 m, 1 spm ( ESFM-GAS /2017-79 ) .
Remarks: Protoconch paucispiral, with whorls longitudinally striated to the boundary with the teleoconch. Teleoconch consists of 5 whorls with a surface sculpture of axial ribs (9 ribs on the body whorl), nearly two times narrower than interspaces, and multiple very fine spiral striae and slightly thicker spirals at regular intervals. Aperture narrow, with parallel borders and as high as 60% of the body whorl. Outer lip thickened, posterior sinus deep, and a short siphonal canal. Light brown in color.
Distribution: Eastern Atlantic Ocean (WoRMS Editorial Board 2020) and Mediterranean Sea ( Nordsieck 1977). Turkish coasts: Aegean Sea ( GBIF 2020).
