52. Notylia orbicularis Richard & Galeotti (1845: 26) View in CoL .
Type:— MEXICO. s. loc., s.d., J. J. Linden 216 (lectotype, designed by Salazar Chávez (1994: 178): P barcode P 101294667!).
Notes: — Richard & Galeotti (1845) described N. orbicularis without indicating the holotype or informing the place of deposit, and the identity of the species has been obscure since its publication. However, it is known that he preferred the K herbarium. Salazar Chávez (1994) believed the material deposited in the P herbarium that was composed of a leaf and two inflorescences mounted in an envelope to be original and designated it as a lectotype.
