17. Notylia broadwayi Cogniaux (1910: 618) View in CoL .
Type:— TRINIDAD and TOBAGO. Trinidad. [The Royal Chartered Borough of Arima:] Arima, s.d., W. E. Broadway A, B, C (not found). Neotype (designated here):— TRINIDAD and TOBAGO. Trinidad. Aqua Santa, near Arima, 1908, W. E. Broadway s.n. ( AMES 11692 About AMES , AMES 83023 About AMES microscope slide).
Notes: —Cogniaux (1910) described N. broadwayi without informing the place where it was deposited. The type specimen has not been located and, as there is no illustration of the species, a neotype is required. Therefore, a sample deposited at the AMES herbarium collected by Broadway s.n. in the type locality is designated as a neotype. The neotype consists of two forms, as an exsiccate and as a microscope slide ( Turland et al. 2018: Art. 8.3).
