NOTE. This subgenus was described by Griffini (1909) as a genus for one very large species characterized by the same subgeneric features as all the species of
Lipotactes s. str. but distinguished from them by the presence of a pair of distinct sclerotized and denticulate structures in the male genitalia (see Ingrisch, 1885: figs
177–179). This subgenus includes only type species, which was also indicated in the latter paper for Borneo and Malay Peninsula.
