DISTRIBUTION: Angola, Burundi, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Lusaka , in Lusaka Province; Chisamba, in Central Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include potato, Solanum tuberosum L. (Solanaceae) reported for Angola ( Pinhey 1975) . No specific host plant has been indicated for the taxon in Zambia.
