DISTRIBUTION: Botswana, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Lesotho, Madagascar, Mozambique, Oman, Réunion, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Somalia, South Africa, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Lusaka , in Lusaka Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include two yet to be identified Pteridophyte (Ferns and fern allies) species namely Adiantum sp. from the family Pteridaceae and Asplenium sp. from the family Aspleniaceae .
