COMMON NAME (S): Prominent or Notodontid moth. SYNONYM(S): None. IUCN STATUS: Not Evaluated (NE). DISTRIBUTION: Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eswatini, Mozambique, Republic of Congo, South Africa, Togo,
Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe. LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: ‘Lusaka’, in Lusaka Province. LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): One Euphorbiaceae species ( Antidesma membranaceum M̧ll.Arg.) and one Caesalpiniaceae species
( Brachystegia spiciformis Benth. ) are reported as host plants of the taxon in South Africa ( Kroon 1999;
