DISTRIBUTION: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Guinea, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia , Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania,
Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Lusaka, in Lusaka Province; Mpika, in Muchinga Province. LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include: three Rhamnaceae species ( Ziziphus sp. , Ziziphus jujuba Mill and Ziziphus spina-christi (L.) Desf.) in Nigeria; two Rhamnaceae species ( Ziziphus mauritiana Lam. and Ziziphus mucronata Willd. ) in South Africa; one Rhamnaceae species ( Ziziphus mucronata Willd. ) in Zimbabwe;
one Rhamnaceae species ( Ziziphus sp. ) in Kenya ; and one Rhamnaceae species ( Ziziphus mucronata
Willd.) in Namibia . No specific host plants of the taxon have been reported for Zambia.
