DISTRIBUTION: Angola, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Mpika, Kopa and Isoka, in Muchinga Province ; Kitwe, in Copperbelt Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants includes a yet to be identified grass species i.e. Hyparrhenia sp. (Poaceae) ( Pinhey 1972b).
