DISTRIBUTION: Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Malawi, Republic of Congo, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Kasempa, in Northwestern Province ; Kopa, in Muchinga Province ; Mbala and Mporokoso, in Northern Province ; Lusaka , in Lusaka Province; Ndola, in Copperbelt Province ; Serenje, in Central Province ; Samfya, in Luapula Province .
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include Uapaca kirkiana M̧ll.Arg.( Phyllanthaceae ), Syzygium owariense (P.Beauv.) Benth. (Myrtaceae) , Salix sp. (Salicaceae) and Diplorhynchus condylocarpon (M̧ll.Arg.) Pichon ( Apocynaceae ) ( Pinhey 1972b).
