DISTRIBUTION: Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Malawi, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: ‘Lusaka’, in Lusaka Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S):Host plants of the taxon include:one Euphorbiaceae species ( Chaetocarpus africanus Pax ), one Connaraceae species ( Manotes expansa Sol. ex Planch.), one Ochnaceae species ( Ochna afzelii R.Br. ex Oliv. ), one Anacardiaceae species ( Mangifera indica L.) and one Fabaceae species ( Acacia auriculiformis Benth. ) all in the Democratic Republic of Congo ( Latham 2003); one Fabaceae species ( Julbernardia sp. ) and one Caesalpiniaceae species ( Brachystegia spiciformis Benth. ) in an unnamed country or countries in Africa ( Pinhey 1972b) . No specific host plants have been reported for the taxon in Zambia.
