DISTRIBUTION: Comoros, Democratic Republic of Congo, India, Java, Kenya, Namibia , Myanmar, Singapore, South Africa, Sulawesi, Thailand, Vietnam, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Upper Luangwa Valley, in Muchinga Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Host plants include one yet to be identified Poaceae species, Oryza sp. ( Pinhey 1975) . The African Moths (2019) webpage names the Poaceae species, Oryza sativa L., as the larval foodplant for the taxon.
