Tome & Principe, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Tanzania,
Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Kafue and Lusaka, in Lusaka Province; Chisamba, in Central Province. LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval food plants of the taxon include: One Malvaceae species ( Triplochiton scleroxylon K.Schum. ) in Ghana ( Wagner et al. 2008); one Amaranthaceae species ( Telanthera versicolor Regel ) in the
Democratic Republic of Congo ( Ghesquière 1942) and two Fabaceae species ( Arachis hypogaea L. and
Desmodium triflorum (L.) DC.) in an unnamed African country or countries ( Poltavsky et al. 2018b).
Without specifying in which country in Africa they occur, the African Moths (2019) webpage indicates the following as larval foodplants of the taxon; one Fabaceae species ( Arachis hypogaea L. [Peanut,
groundnut or monkey nut]), one Malvaceae species ( Triplochiton scleroxylon K.Schum. ) and one
Amaranthaceae species ( Telanthera versicolor Regel ).
