DISTRIBUTION: Australia (Queensland), Burundi, Comoros, Cook Islands, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, Guam, Hong Kong, India, Iran, Japan, Java, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, New Caledonia, Réunion, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone; Somalia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Lusaka and Chongwe, in Lusaka Province ; Petauke, in Eastern Province ; Mbala, in Northern Province .
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include three cabbage group or Brassicaceae species ( Brassica oleracea L., B. rapa L., and Raphanus sp. , one Malvaceae species ( Gossypium sp. ), one Fabaceae species ( Cajanus cajan (L.) Millsp. [Pigeon pea]), one Cleomaceae species ( Gynandropsis sp. ) and one Tropaeolaceae species ( Tropaeolum sp. ).
