Etymology

The species epithet refers to the type locality on the coast of Yemen. It is to be treated as adjectival for the purposes of nomenclature .

Type material

Holotype Male, about 20 mm without uropod ( SMF

32257); Yemen, Hadhramaut, Al-Quran, fish landing site, 14 o 50 ′ 872 ″ N 50 o 08 ′ 818 ″ E, littoral zone with rockpools at low tide, leg. M. Apel, 27.05.2005 .

Paratypes Data as for holotype, except as follows: five males up to 25 mm, two females up to 19 mm ( SMF 35207 About SMF ); four males up to 25 mm, two females up to 19 mm ( NHCY 79 ) .
