Distribution Range. In the east from southern Victoria to northern Queensland and northeastern Northern Territory ( Fig. 20 View Fig ).

Notes. Size ranges among the specimens examined are sbl = 4.9–8.4 mm, elytral width = 1.6–2.3 mm, and ocular ratio = 1.26–1.43. The appearance of the elytral infuscated area is typically like that in the individual in Fig. 1 View Figs ; however, it is extremely variable. The dark region can cover nearly the entire elytral disc and be very dark or quite indistinct. The darker region may be truncated and the basal third of the elytra is the ground color. In other specimens, the infuscation is nearly oval, restricted to the central region and only reaches the fourth interval. The first interval is frequently paler.
