Figs. Images in SysTax and in OSF
Material examined. Singapore, Jagor— 1 male (holotype), 1 female (Berlin ZMB) .
Description. Large species. Wings surpassing mid of stretched hind tibia. Tegmen: Radius with two branches, both forked near tip; media anterior fused in basal area with radius; media posterior absent; cubitus anterior forks between basal third and mid-length into two veins, CuA1 and CuA2; cubitus posterior undivided, free throughout; with 4 anal veins.
Coloration. Tegmen yellowish brown semi-transparent; hind wing semi-transparent; cross veins bordered on both sides with wide dark bands, often leaving only the middle of the cells uncolored.
Male. Eighth abdominal tergite considerably prolonged, apically vaulted. Ninth abdominal tergite much narrower than eighth tergite; in dorso-apical view with concave lateral margins and bifid with acute, diverging latero-apical angles; in ventro-apical view much wider, nearly as wide as ninth tergite but in dorsal view hidden under the latter; ventral surface little irregular but on the whole excavated; from tip of dorsal process with a narrow projection pointing ventro-craniad and widening at tip, on dorso-cranial side this projection is connected to the tergite; below tip of that process, the ventral surface of the tergite is curved apicad, nearly plate-like, sub-flat with a light elevation in midline and terminates in a wide subtruncate apical margin that carries on both lateral angles a small cone. Subgenital plate wider than long; long styli inserted at lateral angles; behind insertion of styli, margins strongly converging and in middle slightly bilobate.
Female. Seventh abdominal sternite with sclerotised area wide and short, interrupted in middle; following membranous zone roughly triangular with widely obtuse apex. Subgenital plate wide in about basal third or fourth; this basal area in middle with a broad sclerotised fold from base; central area of plate with straight lateral margins, flat and provided with 2 tubercles; apical area of plate divided into two triangular lobes that carry an oval swelling each. Ovipositor long, except for subbasal curvature very faintly curved; tip with subapical widening.
