Figs. 36 View FIGURE 36 A–C

Material examined. Indonesia: Maluku, Morotai, Pilowo, Goegoeti (Guguti), (2°6'3.63''N, 128°15'36.83''E), 1.i.– 31.xii.1926, leg. Erie— 1 male (topotype) compared by H. Karny with the holotype (Wien NHMW) GoogleMaps .

Description. Small but not slender species.

Tegmen ( Fig. 36A View FIGURE 36 ): Radius with two branches, both forked near tip; media anterior free from base but in basal area fused with cubitus anterior and releases CuA in basal quarter, thereafter it forks behind basal third into MA and MP, the latter then divides into MP1 and MP2; cubitus anterior fused in basal area with MA; cubitus posterior free at base, later fuses three times temporarily with Analis 1 and divides again; with 3–4 anal veins.

Legs: hind tibia on internal margin with a very long and curved subbasal spine, on external margin with two moderately prolonged spines ( Fig. 36A View FIGURE 36 arrow); ventral margins with a not darkened subapical spine; with three apical spurs at each side.

Coloration. General color uniformly yellowish brown; head with black markings. Tegmen semi-transparent yellowish; hind wing semi-transparent.

Male. Eighth abdominal tergite of normal length. Ninth abdominal tergite roughly globular; posterior margin with wide depression in middle; ventro-apical margin with a pair of short obtuse black teeth. Subgenital plate rather short, wider than long; apical margin oblique on both sides, concave in middle; styli short and stout.

Female unknown.

Measurements from Karny (1937) (1 male).—body w/o wings: 20; pronotum: 4.7; tegmen: 17; hind femur: 14 mm.

Discussion. The species can be recognized by the long curved spine on the dorsal internal margin of the hind tibia, while in the only other known species of the genus, A. particularis , there is a long curved spine on both dorsal margins of the hind tibia.
