Diagnosis. ♀. Apex of clypeus more closely and deeply emarginated, teeth widely rounded; S2 almost regularly convex from base to apex; metanotal teeth of normal size; mesopleuron moderately punctate; posterior side of propodeum without superior carinae; fundamental body colour black.

Colour. Body black with yellow markings. Yellow markings: V–shaped mark on mandible; clypeus; large mark on front, except at interantennal space black; wide band along inner orbits of lower lobes of eye up to ocular sinus; scape, except triangular black spot on apical half of outer face; an elongated large spot on temple; anterior two–thirds of dorsal surface of pronotum; large round spot on mesepisternum; scutellum; metanotum; dorsal face of propodeum; tegula; parategula; femur, tibiae and tarsi of all legs except basal half of hind femora black; an apical band, large at middle and narrow to sides, on T1; two large spots at base, and an apical band enlarged in middle and at sides, on T2; apical bands on T3 and T4; round spot on T6; broad apical band, enlarged at middle and on sides, on S2; apical spots on lateral margin of S3. Wings lightly browned; fore wing more infumated along coast.

Size (H+M+T1+T2). 8 mm.

Ƌ. Giordani Soika, 1982, stated in his key that Ƌ was unknown, but he (1941: 263) stated that some Ƌ from Jubbulpore certainly conspecific, and described Ƌ in contrast to A. guttata diffinis . Clypeus wider than long, semi circularly emarginate, covered with large punctures; last antennal article thin, reaching near base of 10th article; yellow markings: clypeus, mandibles, scape, much of front, eye emargination.

Distribution. India: Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, West Bengal; Malaysia; Myanmar; Singapore.
