Yellowish-brown saprophytes, with short, creeping rhizome covered with thick, fleshy roots to form a nest-like mass. Green leaves absent. Stem covered with brownish scales. Flowers numerous, in a spike-like raceme, fragrant. Perianth-segments subequal or the inner somewhat shorter, somewhat convergent into an open galea. Labellum saccate at base, 2 -lobed distally; spur absent. Column long, slender. Rostellum wide, flat. Visci­ dia absent; bursicles absent.
