Violet saprophytes with short rhizome. Stem clothed with scale like sheaths. Green leaves absent. Flowers in an erect, spike like raceme. Perianth-segments free, patent. Labellum entire. Spur long, slender, curved upwards. Column long. Viscidium solitary; bursicles absent.
