Martens & Behen (1994) reported that the distribution of this species is known for West Indies, so it should be revised. It is documented as a companion fauna of Candonopsis (C.) hummelincki ( Broodbakker 1983d) . The species is cited in Galán & Herrera’s (2006) review of the cave fauna of Venezuela.
