Distribution. Southern Europe ( Greece), Russia (European part), Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Cyprus, Syria, Iran.
Remarks. Celonites tauricus was rediscovered in the studied area after 127 years after its previous collection in 1892 (Fateryga 2017).
