Key to species of Cedria galinae View in CoL species group
1. Malar suture deep and complete ( Fig. 1B View FIGURE 1 ). Antennal flagellomeres distinctly thickened (especially medially) and tapering to apex ( Fig. 1D View FIGURE 1 ); first flagellomere elongate and more than 2.0 × longer than second ( Fig. 1D View FIGURE 1 ). Metanotum with high dorsal flange (lateral view) ( Fig. 2C View FIGURE 2 ). Fore wings with large dark grey zone from near base to just before apex, divided at level of base of pterostigma by transverse clear band ( Fig. 2D View FIGURE 2 ). Posterior of metasoma, from middle of second tergite to shortly before apex, abruptly darkened ( Fig. 2E View FIGURE 2 ). Thailand...................................................... C. wichasei sp. nov.
- Malar suture shallow and usually incomplete. Antennal flagellomeres not thickened; second flagellomere weakly shorter that first one. Metanotum with less protruding dorsal flange (lateral view). Fore wings uniformly hyaline ( C. africana View in CoL ) or with single dark grey patch at level of medial to apical part of pterostigma ( C. galinae View in CoL ). Metasoma unicolourous brownish........ 2
2. Frons rather sparsely rugose; face widely and coarsely rugose. Flagellomeres distinctly widened towards apex, sparsely setose, with long setae on their apices. Median lobe of mesoscutum mainly smooth. Baso-lateral areas of propodeum mainly smooth. Suture between second and third tergites completely absent. Body length 2.6 mm. - Frons densely rugose; face mainly smooth. Flagellomeres weakly widened towards apex, densely setose, without long setae on their apices. Median lobe of mesoscutum mainly rugose. Baso-lateral areas of propodeum sculptured. Suture between second and third tergites absent medially, but present laterally. Body length 1.9-3.4 mm.
