Junior subjective synonym of nominotypical Satyrium spini ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775).

Remarks.

Vorbrodt (1911) proposed this name as a form (in the original description and “var.” on the specimen labels) of " T. Linceus " (sic, recte: lynceus) (Esper, 1779). According to article 45.6.4 ( ICZN 1999), it is subspecific if first published before 1961 and author expressly used the term “form” or “var”.
