Holotype female in MCZC.

Type locality: Mountain Cow Cave, near settlement of Caves Branch, [Cayo District], Belize.

Distribution : Belize: Cayo District: known only from vicinity of type locality (but see Note ).

Note : The original description includes additional tentative/doubtful records (an epigean record also from Cayo District; one cave record from El Petén Department , Guatemala; and one cave record from Yucatán State, Mexico). Biology : Troglophile.
