Holotype [in Peck, 1973a; sex not given] male [as seen in Perreau, 2013: 365, Fig. 2 (protarsus expanded)] in MNHN.
Type locality: Cueva de Sepacuite, near Panzos, Alta Verapaz Department, Guatemala.
Distribution: Guatemala: Alta Verapaz Department: known only from three caves in Alta Verapaz. Biology: Troglophile.
