1949: 98 (assignment to group spelaeus); Peck, 1973a: 111 (type seen; assignment to group), 1973b: 101 (no new record); Perreau, 2013: 365 ( holotype seen).

? Syntypes (several specimens, sex not given, in original description);

Holotype [in Peck, 1973a; sex not given] male [as seen in Perreau, 2013: 365, Fig. 2 (protarsus expanded)] in MNHN.

Type locality: Cueva de Sepacuite, near Panzos, Alta Verapaz Department, Guatemala.

Distribution: Guatemala: Alta Verapaz Department: known only from three caves in Alta Verapaz. Biology: Troglophile.
