Type locality: Cueva Sumidero del Rio Semuc , Panzos , near Taquinco , Region of Izabal, Sierra de Santa Cruz , Alta Verapaz Department, Guatemala.

Distribution: Guatemala: Alta Verapaz Department: known only from type locality. Biology: Troglobite.
