Pseudosparianthis accentuatus Caporiacco, 1955:409 , fig. 60 (Holotype female from Venezuela, D.F., El Junquito GoogleMaps [10.4611, -67.0714], August 1948. Marcuzzi leg., MBUC 714 , not examined).

Note. Sparianthis accentuata View in CoL was described based on an adult female and the type species is supposedly deposited in MBUC, but was not examined. The original description and illustration are not enough to confirm the placement of the species in any of the known Sparianthinae genera. Nevertheless, the illustration of the epigyne clearly shows that it does not belong to Sparianthis View in CoL .
