Range: —Endemic to Bolivia (CO, LP).
Ecology: —Uncommon; montane forests; 2400–3600 m.
Notes: —Specimens of this species were earlier usually referred to P. pendulina , from which it differs by the longweeping growth habit, slender branchlets, and hairy stems.
