Range: — Bolivia (SC), Brazil, and Paraguay.

Ecology: —Rare; terrestrial in semideciduous forests, campos cerrados, and humid savanna grasslands; 850 m.

Notes: — Pseudolycopodiella carnosa is easily recognized by the bare, fleshy, creeping stems. The stems are very brittle, densely and firmly attached to the soil, so most herbarium collections are somewhat fragmented.

Range: —Widely distributed in tropical America, but rare in the Andes. In Bolivia in BE, LP, and SC.

Ecology: —Uncommon; terrestrial or sometimes epilithic in humid and semideciduous forests, and humid savannas, commonly a pioneer on moist or wet ground, on road banks; 180–2000 m.
