Type Locality: "aus Kamerun " (= Cameroon), Cameroun Oriental, Bay of Warships, near Douala.
Vernacular Names: Atlantic Humpbacked Dolphin.
Distribution: E South Atlantic: coastal waters in river mouths from S Morocco (W Sahara; see Beaubrun, 1990) to Cameroon.
Conservation: CITES – Appendix I; IUCN – Data Deficient.
