Collection and habitat data.

All adults (4) of Lepturges symmetricus from New Brunswick were captured in Lindgren funnel traps in the canopy of trees (American beech ( Fagus grandifolia Ehrh.), butternut ( Juglans cinerea L.)) in hardwood and mixed forests. Larval hosts include branches of various hardwoods ( Yanega 1996). Adults were captured during June, July, and August.

Distribution in Canada and Alaska.
