One paratype (NMSA-MOL 0B3800), of two, has been sent to NHMUK (registration number: NHMUK 1986090). Some specimens, including the holotype, were collected in March 1981 during one of the trial runs on Meiring Naudé prior to the first official Meiring Naudé research cruise in August 1981 (David G. Herbert, personal communication).
