REMARKS. One of the Peruvian species of Carineta with infuscation on the apical cells of the wings. It can be distinguished from all the other species by the infuscation present on the apical cells of both fore wing and hind wings along with distal anal cell 3 of the hind wing and the lack of infuscation on the crossveins.
DISTRIBUTION. The species has been reported from Bolivia, Ecuador, and Peru ( Metcalf 1963c; Sanborn 2019b). Jacobi (1907; 1951) reported the species from Callanga, Chanchamayo, and Huanaco in Peru.
