REMARKS. This is another of four species of Fidicinoides in Peru to have hyaline distal fore wings. It can be distinguished by the piceous body marked with testaceous posteriorly, hyaline wings and infuscation at the base of the wings. There is light infuscation on the radial and radiomedial crossveins of the fore wings and the distal fore wings have a light smoky appearance that is unique to the Peruvian Fidicinoides .
DISTRIBUTION. The species has been reported from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, and Peru ( Metcalf 1963a; Sanborn 2013; 2019b; Sanborn & Heath 2014).
