Herrera mesomelanocranon Sanborn 2019b: 82 (“Halco” nr Portrerillo, Across Guend Farm, Potrerillo 1,270m, 17º 40’36” S 63º 26’59” W, Santa Cruz Dept., Bolivia)
REMARKS. This is a monochromatic species except for the primarily piceous head.
DISTRIBUTION. The species has been reported previously from Bolivia and several localities in Brazil ( Sanborn 2019b).
MATERIAL EXAMINED. “ PERU: Dept. Cusco / Kosñipata Vy., San Pedro / 11–15-XI-2009, J. Heppner, / C. Carrera, E. Huamani ” one male and one female ( FSCA), one female ( AFSC); “ PERU: Dept. Cusco / San Pedro Cosñipata Vy. / 4–9 Nov 2007 1360m / J.B. Heppner ” two males ( FSCA), two males ( AFSC) .
