Current name: Ricciocarpos natans (L.) Corda ( Ricciaceae ).

Note: See comments by Isoviita (in Acta Bot. Fenn. 89: 23. 1970), and Grolle (in Feddes Repert. 87: 229. 1976), who indicated a Buddle collection in OXF as the holotype (iso- H-SOL). However, this material was not studied by Linnaeus and is not original material for the name.
