Pangonius obscuratus View in CoL is a Mediterranean species with Palearctic affinity. According to Chvála et al. (1972) it was recorded from Spain, Portugal, Bulgaria, Greece, and Turkey. In the Arab countries of the Middle East, it is known from Lebanon ( Müller et al. 2012b).
