Tabanus laetetinctus View in CoL is known from Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Russia ( Olsufjev 1977). The occurrence of the species in Turkey needs further discussion and examination of the available specimens ( Kiliç et al. 2014). It was recorded from Iraq and Jordan ( Abbassian-Lintzen 1964, Al-Talafha et al. 2005).
