General distribution. Holarctic species, distributed in Europe, in Asia from Anatolia to India (Kashmir), China (Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia, Sichuan, Xinjiang, Yunnan), Korea, and Japan, and in Canada and the USA ( Lee et al. 1994; Lindskog 1995; Protić 1998; Vinokurov, pers. comm.).
