Type:— CHINA. Yunnan, Yangtze-Mekong Divide, Weixi , 2800–3250 m, 22 September 1916, Handel-Mazzetti 10053 (lectotype WU, here designated; isolectotypes E, W); Yunnan, Lidjiang, Yulung-schan [Lijiang, Yulong Shan], 3350 m, 31 July 1914, Handel-Mazzetti 4370 (syntypes W, WU); loc. eodem, Handel- Mazzetti 3713 (syntypes W, WU).
Distribution:—Endemic to China: W Guizhou, SW Sichuan and N Yunnan.
