Published records in Israel. No collection details (Swirzki, 1954; Avidov & Harpaz, 1969, as Psylla pyricola ); NN ( Halperin et al. 1982, as Psylla pyricola ).
Host plant. Pyrus communis (Rosaceae) .
Comments. We have not seen material of Cacopsylla pyricola from Israel. The previous records may concern Cacopsylla bidens .
